Right down to the bed head hair, this portrait of French actress Bernadette Lafont looks quintessentially modern. But it's not. It was taken fifty years ago and Lafont is now 71.

I absolutely love that picture. :) I would love to create/recreate something like this.
I saw her first in 'Le beau Serge' by Claude Chabrol the film that heralded the Nouvelle Vague. I was 13 at the time and I fell in love with her. Next I saw her in 'L'eau a la bouche'. She appeared in a lot more films but it was never the same.
