I've been looking at my photographs and imagining them as paperback covers. This steamy novel would be called "Heaven Is on the Third Floor".

Secret Doors

Every house has its dumping ground, that unlovely room full of cast-offs that "will come in useful some day".

By way of diversion tactics, Couture Deco has come up these trompe-l'oeil fabric posters that can be trimmed to fit every door. While they offer a glimpse into another, magical world, unfortunately they can do nothing about the messy death trap in the room behind.

Following last Saturday's entry, "The Saddest Sight in the World", feline correspondant Isidoor commented that I should go back and take the bear home.

I'd originally left him where he was because I thought that his small owner's mum was bound to come looking for him.

Three days later, I figured that if he was there, he'd definitely been dumped. And there he was, still sitting in the rain...

Pictured here with a friendly local Buddha, he's actually quite an elderly gentleman, in fact something of an antique. And because of what he's been through, I've called him Jude after the Patron Saint of Lost Causes.

The Saddest Sight in the World

... is a lost teddy bear.

I do hope he's found soon.

Grey Revolution?

43-year-old supermodel Karen McMenamy recently caused quite a stir by not only letting her hair go grey but also wearing it long.

So what do you think of it?

Is she beautiful? Or just plain scary?

Please let me know.
