Waiting

These hand-painted ducks are waiting for the tourists to return to Egypt and the Nubian restaurant whose walls they adorn. I do hope that they will be able to come back soon...

Rain, in Egypt? That's curious...

it does occasionally rain, but this is sunshine through an open roof made of palm branches

The first time I saw the pyramids was from the air before landing at Cairo. It was pouring with rain. Rain and pyramids just doesn't seem right... but it does happen!

I saw the pyramids in a sand storm. Eerie...!

I remember one day not seeing them at all while I was standing in front of them! They had just vanished in a yellow mist...

It's that Sphinx what done it. I always knew he was up to no good!
