Home Sweet Home


This little piece of paradise high up in Lebanon's Qadisha Valley is home to Father Dario Escobar, a Colombian hermit who spends his days in comtemplation and prayer. When I visited, I saw him sitting motionless was in this tiny, rock-cut chapel. It was like seeing a ghost...

Father Dario is in his late 70s. I would have thought that being a hermit would be pretty challenging as well. But the view's spectacular...
